Meals On Wheels hosts several fundraisers throughout the year to raise awareness and support for our agency.  We hope that you'll take part in one of these opportunities and join us in supporting Buncombe County seniors.

Plate Expectations Charity Auction -

Eight years in the making, our annual Plate Expectations Auction is one of the best charity fundraisers around!  Approximately 200 people attended our 2011 gala and helped Meals On Wheels raise over $65,000 to feed the elderly homebound of Buncombe County.  Read more...

Spring Lunch Bunch / Fall Feast

Treat yourself, your customers and/or your coworkers to a gourmet catered lunch delivered by Meals On Wheels.  This is not your typical lunch.  With catering partners like Ridgecrest Conference Center and Okie Dokies Smokehouse our Spring Lunch Bunch and Fall Feast fundraisers are popular events that sell out quickly!

Meals are $12.00 each and include an entrée, dessert and drink.  Best of all, $6.00 from every meal goes to support Meals On Wheels.

Polar Bear Plunge

The 4th annual Polar Bear Plunge will be held Saturday, February 11th and once again hosted by our friends at the Asheville Racquet Club. In 2011, jumpers raised over $18,000 for Meals On Wheels. Wheel Ride for Food - Coming MAY 12th, 2012

The 4th Annual Wheel Ride for Food was held on Saturday, May 28th, 2011 with 152 riders coming out to support Meals On Wheels.  This annual ride is quickly becoming a favorite with its Century (100-mile), Metric Century (65-mile) and a Metric Half-Century (32-mile) routes that attract cyclists from throughout the Southeast.
