Plate Expectations is a success!

Saturday, September 12, 2009 - Over 200 people came out to the Country Club of Asheville in support of Meals On Wheels during the recent Plate Expectations Charity Auction.  It was a night to reconnect with old friends and meet new ones as fine food, drinks and friendly conversation filled the air.  With over 300 items to bid on in the Live and Silent auctions, there was a lot to see and a good time was had by all as we raised $66,891.00 (over 10,000 meals!!!) to feed the homebound elderly of Buncombe County.
