The Hearts Behind the Ladles

In these challenging and uncertain times, a dedicated group of volunteers has come together with a heartfelt desire to make a meaningful difference in our community. While they have previously raised funds for various organizations, this year they are shifting their focus to tackle the pressing issue of food insecurity. Their compassion shines through as they support Meals on Wheels with this special soup fundraiser to assist homebound seniors.

Arlene Cotler, the inspiring leader of this initiative, shared a simple truth: "I may not be able to solve every problem, but I know I can make soup." This incredible group of volunteers, ranging in age from 43 to 103, comes together with love and dedication. They carefully purchase and prepare all the ingredients, covering all packaging costs themselves, ensuring that every contribution benefits Meals on Wheels.

Their gift is both the soup and the spirit behind it, a reminder that community care happens one pot, one bowl, one neighbor at a time.
